2017 is off to an incredible start for the band and we are so grateful for all of the support.
In March, PUSH opened for Cheap Trick at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. What a special evening as Cheap Trick, newly inducted into the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, performed to a sold out theater and just brought the house down! PUSH was honored to have special guests perform with us that night as we opened the show. Brad Gillis, lead guitarist for Night Ranger, joined us on stage as did Jorge Santana. Cornell Carter, a truly remarkable singer and recording artist joined me for a duet of Let it Be that began with a beautiful introduction by Manesh Judge who is a virtuoso table drummer who has toured with some of the best Indian artists around the world.
PUSH is already booking a lot of dates and we will be playing a lot this year at some great festivals and clubs along with the Alameda County Fair, so please check our schedule for dates. We have recently released two original singles, “Feel the Heat” and “Baby Ya Know”, and more are on the way! We truly appreciate all of the downloads and support. PUSH will also be back in the studio this summer to finish work on a new album that will be out by year’s end.
We are all excited about the year ahead after a truly remarkable 2016 for the band which kicked-off in earnest when we opened for REO Speedwagon. It’s been a fun journey so far and we deeply appreciate the continued support by all of our PUSHers!
Thanks everyone—see you at the show!
